Passion for Action

Our Founders

Passion for Action was founded in 2002 by Ken Martin and Randy Yeung, two refugees from the high tech world of wireless telecommunication and finance.  With a passion for environmental sustainability and the inspiration of Ken's son Travis, what started as a dad and friend helping a son with a Grade 7 science project (see Our Story), evolved into an organization that is now a dozen strong, and providing action inspiration to our many client's audiences.

Ken Martin

ken_large.jpgKen is a businessman and project manager by background. Ken spent a decade with Motorola in Vancouver, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore managing business development, sales and engineering teams, selling and installing wireless data networks world wide.  Ken also spent 5 years in a wireless e-commerce start-up and VP of Business Development, assisting the raising of $30M in venture financing, managing major Canadian and US bank clients and building a 100+ strong organization.  Ken has an MBA from Simon Fraser University.

 Ken provides the business, sales and project management expertise for Passion for Action.

 

 

Randy Yeung

randy_large.jpgRandy is a software engineer by background. Over the past 20+ years, Randy has managed the development of numerous wireless e-commerce, hand held device applications and interfaces to ERP systems.  Randy's knowledge of the GHG carbon calculation methodology makes him one of the foremost designers of GHG footprint calculators.

Randy provides the software development management and expertise for Passion for Action.
